Sarka Electric began as a single-van electrical service operation founded by Norbert Sarka in the heart of Kalida, Ohio. His son Bob Sarka took the reins in 1980, determined to grow the business beyond its roots while staying true to the values that made it special — honest work, fair prices, and genuine care for every customer.
What started as one man in one van has grown into a team of over 25 skilled professionals operating 12 service vehicles across Northwest Ohio. The growth wasn't accidental — it was the result of a deliberate choice to train every technician in multiple trades, so customers never have to call more than one company.
Today, Sarka Electric is still proudly family-owned and operated. Bob leads the company, Karen manages the books, and their sons Andy and Rob and daughter Abby have all joined the team — carrying the family legacy into the next generation.
